This was a special morning. I saw a mama fox running across a field and got my camera ready. I raised it up to my eye and waited for her to come into view. She paused in a patch of light and out came pups, and then another, and another, until 8 took turns feeding. They began to play for a little while after. Tumbling, stumbling, and wrestling. This pup saw a bird up in the tree and I quickly got the shot. This may be one of my favorite photos I’ve taken to date.
