This was a very special unexpected surprise. After waiting over 4 hours with no guarantee of seeing a mama moose and her calf that were frequenting this area, they made an appearance. The mom and her baby had some dinner, eating and drinking from the river and the plants that grew beside it, I watched in awe taking in the moment. Not too long after, out of the tall brush another moose appeared, followed by a bull! The baby retreated into the woods while the 2 ladies at a bit of a dispute. Maybe an ex boyfriend? Not sure, I couldn’t really hear what they were saying.
